NORTHWIND II
NORTHWIND II ist ein Stück Yachtgeschichte. 1966 von Camper & Nicholsons in Southampton für den französischen Industriellen Paulin Richier gebaut (ursprünglich Chambel IV), wurde sie 1970 von ihrem nächsten Eigner umbenannt und ist seither ununterbrochen unterwegs. Letzte Refit 2022. Stahlrumpf, Aluminium-Aufbau, Teakdecks und die Präsenz, die nur ein 60 Jahre alter Klassiker hat.
Das Interieur wurde von Maison Jansen gestaltet, und das sieht man: Paneele aus burmesischem Teak mit 22-Karat-Goldbändern, die Art von Detail, die heute schlicht nicht mehr gebaut wird. Sie beherbergt 10 Gäste in 5 Kabinen mit eigenem Bad, darunter eine Masterkabine mit zwei Betten (108cm und 128cm), eine VIP-Kabine und drei Zweibettkabinen. Eine vollständige Crew von 9 bietet Service auf dem Niveau, für das das Schiff ursprünglich gebaut wurde.
Zwei MAN-Diesel treiben sie mit 13 Knoten Reisegeschwindigkeit an, bis zu 15, bei einer Reichweite von 2.275 Seemeilen. Ganzjährig in Athen stationiert.
Burmesisches Teak, 22-Karat-Goldbänder, Maison-Jansen-Interieurs und ein Rumpf, den Camper & Nicholsons in dem Jahr zu Wasser ließ, als England die Weltmeisterschaft gewann. NORTHWIND II ist das Original.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
