SLIM is de laatste romp van de iconische Gunboat 66 serie, een hoogpresterende zeilcatamaran ontworpen door Morelli & Melvin en gebouwd in Zuid-Afrika. Gelanceerd in 2012, is ze gedurende haar leven zorgvuldig onderhouden, met grote refits in 2015 en 2019. SLIM is op maat gemaakt voor de wensen van haar eigenaar voor wereldwijde zeiltochten en is gebouwd om afgelegen bestemmingen te verkennen die alleen per yacht bereikbaar zijn.
Haar geavanceerde composietconstructie, gecombineerd met een snelverplaatsende raceromp, levert uitstekende prestaties onder een breed scala aan omstandigheden. SLIM staat bekend om haar responsieve handling, snelheid en het vermogen om comfortabel lange afstanden te varen, terwijl ze een soepele en stabiele rit behoudt.
SLIM biedt plaats aan maximaal 6 gasten in 3 goed uitgeruste cabines, elk met een inloopdouche, airconditioning, een geluidsinstallatie en een flatscreen-tv. An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
