SUNREEF ECO 80 2024
SUNREEF ECO 80 2024 is een 24 meter lange elektrische zeilcatamaran, gebouwd door Sunreef Yachts in 2024 op de werf in Gdansk, Polen. De Eco-lijn werd in 2023 bekroond met de German Innovation Award en uitgeroepen tot Multihull of the Year, een erkenning voor een platform met solar skin, een lithiumbatterijbank en hydroregeneratie tijdens het zeilen.
Zij ontvangt acht gasten in vier hutten, met een bemanning van vier. Een verhouding van één bemanningslid op twee gasten geeft de exploitatie op een catamaran van 24 meter ruimte voor toegewijde service aan boord. De romp vaart onder Guernsey-vlag.
Het voortstuwingspakket is het centrale element. Zonnepanelen in dek en opbouw voeden een lithiumbatterijbank, hydroregeneratie wint energie terug uit de schroeven tijdens het zeilen, en het schip kan onder de juiste omstandigheden brandstofvrij varen. De kruissnelheid ligt rond de acht knopen, met de zeilen die het werk overnemen zodra de wind het toelaat.
Het toy-programma is uitgesproken actief. Vier paddleboards en twee windsurfplanken staan naast een wakeboard, waterski's voor volwassenen en kinderen en een tractietube, met snorkeluitrusting voor twaalf en drie hengels aan boord. De aantallen voor snorkelen en SUP gaan voorbij de acht slaapplaatsen, wat ruimte laat voor daggasten.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
