YCH2

German Frers has drawn the Swan line for forty years. YCH2 is one of his Swan 90s, built by Nautor Swan in 2009 and refit in 2023, sailing the Ionian out of Corfu under the Maltese flag.
She is a racing-derived performance cruiser at twenty-seven metres. The interior is the Frers brief carried through: a single open salon with a navigation station, joinery that the Finnish yard does properly, and the kind of light that comes from windows sized for a yacht this long. A crew of three runs the boat.
Four cabins below sleep six adults, or eight with two children. The layout is two doubles and two twins, all en-suite. A long cockpit handles a watch at sea or a full guest group at anchor, and the side decks are clear forward to the bow.
From Corfu the cruising ground reads as the Ionian first: Paxos, Antipaxos, Lefkas, Ithaca, Kefalonia, and across to the Albanian coast. Longer charters reach the Dalmatian islands or down to the Peloponnese. Toys are kept to what the boat carries: paddleboards, water skis, fishing tackle, and snorkel gear, with a Williams Turbojet 385 handling shore drops and the towed end of the ski line.
She is a Swan 90 sailing under canvas in Greece, with the rig to make Ionian distance and the cabins to carry a charter group a week.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
