MASTERMIND II

The Catana Group launched the Bali brand in 2014 with a single idea: replace the trampoline netting between the bows with a solid fibreglass platform and turn it into usable deck space. MASTERMIND is a Bali 5.4, built in France in 2024 and based in Ibiza for the summer season, then St Maarten through winter.
The signature feature is the aft bulkhead. An electric winch lifts the entire back wall of the saloon like a garage door, merging the indoor living space with the cockpit into a single open-air room. Close it in a squall and the saloon seals; open it at anchor and the division between inside and outside disappears. Forward, a second door connects the saloon directly to the foredeck lounge, so guests move bow to stern without stepping outside the main living area.
Five cabins sleep 10 guests. The U-shaped galley has space for two people to prep without crowding each other, and the saloon dining seats 12. A crew of two runs the boat: an owner-captain who has crossed the Atlantic multiple times and knows the Mediterranean well.
SUP, wakeboard, tube, floating mats, snorkel gear, and fishing tackle fill the toy locker. BBQ, water maker, ice maker, gym, and deck shower handle the onboard living.
MASTERMIND sails out of Ibiza from May through October, then crosses to St Maarten for the Caribbean winter, with an owner-captain who has run the Atlantic crossing multiple times.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
