SON OF WIND

Summer: Turkish Riviera
1 / 18

SON OF WIND is a 43.5-metre gulet launched in 2021 from a Turkish yard, built in the traditional ketch-rigged style but finished to a standard most gulets never reach. She's wide (8.7-metre beam), new, and runs a crew of six for ten guests.

Ten guests in five en-suite cabins: a master with double bed, three doubles, and one twin. All cabins have individual air conditioning, satellite TV, music systems, and proper bathrooms. The layout keeps the crew quarters completely separate, so the guest areas feel private even on a 43-metre hull.

Two tenders (a 4.8-metre RIB with 80HP and a 3.8-metre with 25HP), plus a jet ski, Seabobs, wakeboards, water skis, a kneeboard, paddleboards, kayaks, an inflatable trampoline, a floating water pad, and snorkelling gear. The aft deck and foredeck both work as dining and lounging spaces, with cushioned sunbathing areas fore and aft.

Based in Fethiye, she covers the Turkish Riviera from Göcek to Bodrum and crosses to the Greek islands. Six crew: captain, chef, two deckhands, hostess, and a dedicated mechanic.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
