NAMASTE (SAMANA)

Summer: CycladesWinter: Saronic Islands
1 / 36

Cyclades in summer, Saronic Islands in winter, Athens at the centre of every itinerary. NAMASTE is a Fountaine Pajot Samana 59 from 2021, based year-round at Marina Zea on the south side of Athens, working both seasons inside Greek waters.

She runs 18.78 metres on deck with a 9.46-metre beam and a 1.65-metre draft, drawn by Berret-Racoupeau and built at La Rochelle, set up for relaxed coastal cruising at 8 knots under power. A Greek crew of three runs the boat: captain, chef, and stewardess.

Eight guests sleep in four en-suite cabins. The master suite has direct deck access and the run of one hull, two queens take the rest of the accommodation, and a fourth twin bunk cabin suits children, teenagers, or accompanying staff. The galley-down layout keeps the main saloon free for guests, with full-height glass to the aft cockpit and natural light through the day.

The flybridge is the social heart: a long upper deck with dining for the full table, sun loungers, and views over the anchorage. Forward, a recessed bow seating area and full-width sunpads turn the foredeck into a separate lounge. Water sports cover the Greek week: Seabob, two paddleboards, two-person kayak, wakeboard, adult and kids water skis, knee board, towable, snorkel for ten, and fishing tackle. Water maker, ice maker, BBQ, and on-board fitness kit fill the long anchorages.

From Athens she works the Cyclades in summer and the Saronic in winter, with all charters starting and ending at Marina Zea.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
