CIUTADELLA

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Balearic Islands
1 / 24

A 1967 wooden hull with a 2025 interior. CIUTADELLA was built by Chantier de l'Estérel to a design by André Mauric and has just completed a full refit that stripped the inside back to bare wood and rebuilt it with a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The bones are classic. The living spaces are modern. Both work.

She sleeps six guests across three cabins on the lower deck: a master double with en-suite, a second double, and a twin. Crew of two keeps things personal rather than formal. At 25 metres with a wooden hull and teak decks, she has the presence of a proper classic without the maintenance anxiety; the 2025 refit addressed that comprehensively.

Toys are straightforward: a SUP, wakeboard, and snorkel gear. The tender (a 5-metre Protender) does the real work, getting you into the calas and coves that make Menorca worth chartering in the first place. She cruises at 11 knots from her base in Mahón and covers Mallorca, Ibiza, and Formentera comfortably within a week's itinerary.

A classic wooden motor yacht, freshly rebuilt inside, already sitting in Mahón harbour. The Balearics at 11 knots, done properly.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
