ODYSSEA

ODYSSEA is a 46-metre Heesen, originally built for Frans Heesen himself and fully refitted in 2024 by Bannenberg & Rowell. Steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and 491 GT of interior volume across three decks. She operates year-round from Costa Rica and Panama on the Pacific side.
The owner's suite occupies the entire bridge deck: king bed, panoramic views, walk-in wardrobe, marble bathroom with double sinks and steam shower, and a private observation lounge to portside. Below, a queen stateroom sits on the main deck, and four lower deck staterooms (two queen, two twin with pullmans) bring capacity to 12 guests. A full-beam cinema and media lounge with 100-inch screen, Peloton, and bar sits forward on the main deck. Crew of 9.
A 35-foot Hammer Cat tender with twin 350HP runs ahead for beach setups and fishing runs. Two Yamaha EX Deluxe jet skis, two SeaBob F5s, two Lift e-foils, a 10-person super SUP, three standard SUPs, an inflatable kayak, four surfboards, two skimboards, combo water skis, two wakeboards, kitesurfing gear with foil boards, and five different towables. 12 sets of snorkel gear, full fishing equipment (spinning, trawling, electric reels), and a beach gazebo setup.
She cruises at 12 knots (16 top) with stabilisers at anchor and underway, and a 4,000nm range. Jacuzzi on the sundeck, al fresco dining on every level, and backlit crystal granite countertops that set the evening mood.
A Heesen built for the man who founded the yard, refitted with a 35-foot chase cat and enough toys for an entire Pacific coastline.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
