GALAPAGOS HORIZON
GALAPAGOS HORIZON ist ein 38 Meter langer Power-Katamaran, 2018 von Lyman Morse gebaut und 2024 überholt, speziell für die Galápagos-Inseln konzipiert. Acht Kabinen, jede mit privatem Balkon, bieten sechzehn Gästen Platz. Jede Kabine hat individuelle Klimasteuerung, eigenes Bad und entweder ein Kingsize-Bett oder Zweibett-Konfiguration.
Der Katamaranrumpf verleiht ihr Stabilität bei den offenen Überfahrten zwischen den Inseln und einen flachen Tiefgang von 1,9 Metern für die näheren Ankerplätze. Zwei Scania-Diesel mit 550 PS treiben sie mit 11 Knoten an, und elf Crew, darunter ein zertifizierter zweisprachiger Naturführer, betreiben das Schiff und planen die Routen.
Gemeinschaftsbereiche umfassen eine moderne Lounge mit Bar, einen Außen-Essbereich und ein Solarium mit Jacuzzi auf dem Oberdeck. Wasserzugang per Kajak (vier Doppelkajaks), Paddleboard und Schnorchelausrüstung. Keine Jetskis, keine lauten Spielzeuge: die Vorschriften des Galápagos-Nationalparks bestimmen, was ins Wasser darf, und GALAPAGOS HORIZON ist gebaut, um diese einzuhalten.
Routen von vier, fünf oder acht Tagen decken die Highlights des Archipels ab: Isabela, Fernandina, Santa Cruz, Genovesa und Española. Seelöwen, Meeresechsen, Blaufußtölpel und Walhaie je nach Saison, alles von einem privaten Schiff aus mit einem Führer, der weiß, wo man hinschauen muss.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
