CALADAN is an award-winning Tansu Cuda Class 124, launched in 2014 with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and exterior and interior design by Riza Tansu. She took the Neptune Trophy at the World Superyacht Awards the following year. Originally named So'Mar, she changed hands and completed an extensive refit in 2025 that renewed her from the waterline up: fresh hull and superstructure paint, custom-designed furniture and soft furnishings throughout the interiors, upgraded Northern Lights generators for quieter running, and new exterior furniture and deck cushions on every level.

She sleeps nine guests across four en-suite cabins. The upper-deck master suite is the standout: wraparound windows, a king bed, en-suite bathroom, and a private terrace with direct deck access for morning coffee or a nightcap. A full-beam VIP cabin sits amidships on the lower deck with a second king bed and an extra berth for a child. Two twin cabins forward round out the layout. Six crew, led by a multilingual captain, run the yacht.

The tender commissioned during the refit deserves its own mention: a brand-new SPX 32 RIB, powered by twin 300-horsepower Mercury V8 outboards, fitted with a T-top, aft sunbed, and onboard radar for night navigation. She holds a 12-nautical-mile offshore licence and works as a proper chase boat. The water sports locker matches the tender's ambition, with two SeaDoo jet skis (Spark Trixx and Wake Pro 230), a Fliteboard e-foil, and an iFLY15 foiling catamaran for the experienced. Wind days call on a Tiwal inflatable sailboat, wing foil gear, and kitesurfing equipment, while calmer sessions bring out wakeboards for adults and children, windsurfing rigs, two stand-up paddleboards, and a Scubajet Pro underwater scooter. A YachtBeach floating platform with integrated jet-ski dock anchors the whole setup, and Seabobs are available on request at a surcharge.

CALADAN cruises at 13 knots on twin 715-horsepower Caterpillar C18 diesels, tops out at 15, and carries stabilisers that work both underway and at anchor. Her wood-and-epoxy semi-displacement hull draws just 1.82 metres, which opens up shallow anchorages across her operating range: the Balearics, the French and Italian Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, and Malta.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
