MAVERICK
Les BVI sont un terrain de plongée, et le capitaine de MAVERICK détient les brevets RYA Yachtmaster Ocean et PADI Dive Master. Tyrone LaRue mène le bateau toute l'année depuis Village Cay, à Tortola, sans repositionnement saisonnier entre les îles. Elle est un catamaran à voile Sunreef 70, construit en 2013 et refit en 2019, avec les îles Vierges britanniques comme zone de croisière permanente.
Neuf invités dorment dans quatre cabines : trois VIP doubles à lit king-size réparties entre les deux coques, et une cabine twin avec une couchette Pullman supplémentaire pour un jeune invité. Chaque cabine a sa salle de bain attenante. Le salon s'étend sur toute la largeur avec un vitrage panoramique, et l'espace repas du flybridge se transforme en bain de soleil pour l'après-midi.
Le programme nautique est calibré pour les mouillages abrités et les récifs coralliens des BVI. Un semi-rigide Williams jet de 4,45 mètres équipé d'un moteur 110 ch met à l'eau deux Seabobs, un Lyft eFoil, deux paddleboards, deux kayaks deux places, une planche à voile et un dériveur. Wakeboards, skis nautiques, ski genou et bouée tractée à quatre places complètent le matériel tracté, avec masques, tubas et matériel de pêche pour le quotidien.
Un équipage de trois personnes vit à bord toute l'année : le capitaine LaRue, le chef Cris Flores avec vingt ans d'expérience en cuisines latine, sud-américaine, méditerranéenne et caribéenne, et un steward qui gère le service et l'assistance plongée. Le bateau commence et termine chaque charter à l'intérieur de la zone de croisière des BVI.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
