SILOLONA
SILOLONA a sans doute été le premier phinisi de luxe au monde. Commandé par l'Américaine Patti Seery, qui a vécu 35 ans en Indonésie et a été officiellement intronisée dans la tribu Dani de Papouasie, il a été construit à la main pendant quatre ans par les charpentiers Konjo du village d'Ara, dans le sud de Sulawesi : coque en bois de fer, superstructure en teck, construction phinisi traditionnelle selon les spécifications du German Lloyds. Michael Kasten (Kasten Marine) a dessiné l'architecture navale. Il a été lancé à Bali en 2004.
Dix invités dans cinq cabines avec salle de bains privative. Trois suites principales avec lit king et salon privé, plus une double queen et une twin. Les intérieurs proviennent de la collection personnelle de Seery : textiles indonésiens, poutres sculptées à la main, nattes tissées et objets d'art collectés à travers l'archipel pendant des décennies. Équipage de 17, dont des moniteurs de plongée certifiés PADI.
L'opération de plongée est sérieuse : un centre PADI agréé avec 20 bouteilles, deux compresseurs Schiffauer et trois annexes de grande taille pour les transferts de plongée. Komodo depuis Labuan Bajo en été, Raja Ampat et les îles aux Épices depuis Ambon en hiver. Elle embarque aussi kayaks, SUP, wakeboard, skis nautiques (adultes et enfants), kneeboard, bouée, matériel de snorkeling et de pêche.
Patti Seery est décédée en 2020. Son fils Tresno, architecte naval formé aux États-Unis, dirige désormais Silolona Sojourns. Le sister-ship Si Datu Bua (39 m, 2012) navigue en tandem pour les groupes jusqu'à 16 personnes.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
