AENEA (CNB 76)

Summer: Croatia
1 / 19

The CNB 76 was nominated for best sailing yacht under 40 metres. AENEA makes the case. Designed by Philippe Briand with interiors by Jean-Marc Piaton, she was built by Construction Navale Bordeaux in 2017 and sails out of Marina Kastela, Split. Named after Aeneas from Greek mythology (strength, resilience, leadership), which is a lot of symbolism for a 23-metre yacht, but the sailing credentials back it up: a full wardrobe: main, genoa, self-tacking jib, and code 0. She sails properly.

Eight guests in three en-suite cabins. A crew of two keeps it personal. The cockpit dining table converts to a sun lounging pad under the bimini, and mast spotlights handle the evening ambience. Starlink internet, underwater lights, indoor and outdoor speakers, and a flat-screen TV cover the electronics.

A Conrad Pischel tender with a 40HP Yamaha gets you ashore. Toys: two SUPs, wakeboard, water skis (adult and kids), eight sets of snorkel gear in different sizes, and fishing gear. She cruises at 8 knots (12 max) through the Dalmatian coast: Split, Hvar, Vis, Korčula, and the islands between.

A Briand-designed sailing yacht with proper canvas, a proper yard, and a price point that makes a week under sail in Croatia genuinely accessible.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
