SUNNYACHT

Summer: French RivieraWinter: French Riviera

A French port one day, an Italian port the next: SUNNYACHT charters across the western Mediterranean from the French Riviera through south Corsica to north Sardinia, picking up two countries inside a standard week. She is a 62-foot Sunreef 62 sailing catamaran, built in 2008 and given a full refit in 2023, with three cabins for six guests and a crew of two.

The Sunreef 62 is built around a flybridge, which is where the boat lives at anchor and underway in fair weather. Sunpads, an outdoor table, and the helm station all sit a level above the saloon and cockpit. A wide foredeck and trampolines forward give space for sunbathing or watching the bow wave on a breezy day. Air conditioning, a watermaker, and a generator handle the rest.

Toys are weighted toward water sports: two windsurfers, two paddleboards, a 2-person kayak, a wakeboard, adult water skis, a towable tube, snorkel gear, and fishing gear. The captain handles the sailing and the chef-hostess runs the galley and service.

SUNNYACHT flies the San Marino flag, summers across the Riviera-Corsica-Sardinia triangle, and lays up in France for the winter. The 2023 refit brought the systems and finish up to current standard.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
