GALAPAGOS HORIZON
GALAPAGOS HORIZON est un catamaran à moteur de 38 mètres construit par Lyman Morse en 2018 et refondu en 2024, conçu spécifiquement pour les îles Galápagos. Huit cabines, chacune avec un balcon privé, accueillent seize passagers. Chaque cabine dispose d'un contrôle climatique individuel, d'une salle de bain privative et d'un lit king-size ou d'une configuration twin.
La coque catamaran lui confère stabilité lors des traversées entre les îles et un faible tirant d'eau de 1,9 mètre pour les mouillages les plus proches. Deux diesels Scania 550cv la propulsent à 11 nœuds, et onze membres d'équipage, dont un guide naturaliste bilingue certifié, gèrent le navire et les itinéraires.
Les espaces communs comprennent un salon moderne avec bar, une salle à manger en plein air et un solarium avec jacuzzi sur le pont supérieur. L'accès à l'eau se fait en kayak (quatre doubles), paddleboard et équipement de snorkeling. Pas de jet-skis, pas de jouets bruyants : la réglementation du Parc National des Galápagos détermine ce qui entre dans l'eau, et GALAPAGOS HORIZON est construit pour s'y conformer.
Des itinéraires de quatre, cinq ou huit jours couvrent les points forts de l'archipel : Isabela, Fernandina, Santa Cruz, Genovesa et Española. Lions de mer, iguanes marins, fous à pieds bleus et requins-baleines selon la saison, le tout depuis un navire privé avec un guide qui sait où regarder.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
