JACK

Summer: Corsica
1 / 30

JACK took multihull line honours at the 2024 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, crossing 3,135 nautical miles from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia. She is the first MC75 off McConaghy's line, drawn by Jason Ker of Ker Yacht Design and fitted out by Milan studio m2atelier. She sleeps 8 guests in four convertible en-suite cabins with a crew of four.

The hull is E-glass and epoxy with carbon structural reinforcement, topped by a Hall Spars carbon mast. Hydraulic retractable centerboards drop to 4.5 metres for upwind work and retract to 2.7 for anchorages, all push-button from the flybridge sailing cockpit. Under sail with the code zero set on a broad reach, she pushes past 21 knots in a 20-knot breeze; under motor, twin Yanmars hold 10 knots comfortably.

Moving the entire sailing station to the flybridge was a deliberate choice. It keeps the 9.8-metre-wide saloon unobstructed, with a walk-around bar, retractable side windows, and bifold aft doors that open the whole space to the deck. Below, four seaward-facing cabins each carry a queen bed convertible to twins, with their own en-suite and air conditioning.

The toy list matches the pedigree: Fliteboard e-foil, UFO Foiling 14-foot sailing dinghy, scuba for six divers with an onboard compressor, electric bikes, SUPs, wakeboard, and a 4.6-metre Highfield tender. She splits the year between the western Mediterranean in summer (Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia) and the Caribbean in winter. She is a racing catamaran that charters as a cruiser, with the transatlantic results to prove the hull.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
