STARSHIP

STARSHIP is a 43-metre Van Mill motor yacht launched in 1988. In 2004, she was stripped to bare metal and rebuilt in an $11 million refit. Continuous upgrades have followed: new generators and electrical panels in 2022, Starlink, new navigation systems, and a full fire suppression overhaul. Water jet propulsion gives her shallow draft access across the Bahamas.
Twelve guests in five en-suite cabins. The master suite sits amidships on the lower deck with a California King, walk-in closets, and a marble en-suite with steam shower. A queen VIP cabin with pullman and sofa bed, two guest staterooms with king beds, and a twin complete the layout. Crew of nine.
The tender operation sets the pace. A 37-foot Intrepid 370 centre console serves as a standalone fishing boat and island hopper. An 18-foot Novurania with 115-horsepower Yamaha handles guest transfers. Five Yamaha VX WaveRunners, two Seabob F5S units, an e-foil, a 15-by-25-foot inflatable water slide, three paddleboards, two kayaks, windsurf gear, wakeboards, water skis, towables, and snorkelling gear. Beach setup includes gazebos, umbrellas, and a BBQ grill.
She cruises at 10 knots with a top speed of 18 and a range of 1,200 nautical miles. Year-round from Fort Lauderdale, covering the Bahamas and the Florida East Coast.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
