ADRIATIC LION (LAGOON 620)

Split, Hvar, Korčula, Dubrovnik. That is the standard week on ADRIATIC LION, a Croatian-flagged Lagoon 620 sailing catamaran running summer charters out of Split's Zapadna obala and Marina Kaštela. The route covers the central and southern Dalmatian islands at sailing-cat pace, which is to say long lunches at anchor and short hops between harbours.
She was built in 2018, measures 18.90 metres, and carries ten guests across five queen cabins, all en-suite. The layout is the standard Lagoon 620 charter configuration with full standing headroom throughout, full air conditioning, and a hydraulic swimming platform off the stern that doubles as a launch pad for the toys.
A crew of three runs the boat: captain, chef, and steward. Captain Igor Tošev is Croatian with more than eight years on the water, a Yacht-Master licence, and English alongside his native Croatian. He knows the Dalmatian coast well enough to pick the lunch anchorage that suits the wind and the guest list on the day.
The toy programme is family-loaded. A Highfield 460 tender with a 60hp Honda outboard handles the shuttle work, with two paddleboards, water skis in both adult and child sizes, a towing ring, snorkel gear, and fishing tackle aboard. Five inflatable floating mats round out the swim-platform inventory. Solar panels reduce generator hours at anchor.
She cruises at eight knots, and weekly rates run €18,320 in low season to €30,000 in peak summer, plus a 20 to 35 percent APA depending on itinerary.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
