COOL CHANGE

Three brothers own and run COOL CHANGE between them. Jure, Josip, and Nikola grew up sailing on the Dalmatian coast despite no family background in the sport. Each has spent more than two decades in Croatian yacht charter, and they take turns in the skipper's seat through the season. Nikola was a member of the Croatian national team in the Optimist, Europe, and 470 classes before turning professional.
The yacht is a Lagoon 560, built in 2015 and refitted in 2021, working out of Marina Agana on the central Dalmatian coast year-round. She measures 17.07 metres on a 9.44-metre beam and draws 1.5 metres, which opens up the shallower coves around Šolta, Brač, and Hvar.
Eight guests sleep across four en-suite cabins. The salon and cockpit run together at deck level, with a flybridge above for sundowners and a forward lounge that doubles as a daytime sun pad. Bow thruster, water maker, generator, solar panels, and full air conditioning handle the systems side, with a washing machine and dishwasher rounding out the galley fit-out.
A 50-horsepower tender carries the wakeboard, water skis, two paddleboards, and snorkel and fishing kit out to whichever bay the brothers have picked for the day. Chef Larry runs the galley, with one of the three brothers on the helm.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
