DRAGONFLY

An e-foil and a pair of sea scooters are the marquee toys aboard, with Starlink keeping the connection live from anywhere a Caribbean charter takes the boat. DRAGONFLY is an 18.9-metre Lagoon 620 sailing catamaran from 2019, designed by VPLP with interiors by Nauta Design, and she splits her year between Grenada in summer and the British Virgin Islands in winter.
Four cabins sleep eight guests, all en-suite. The master sits aft with a queen bed and a private lounge, two further queen cabins handle couples, and a twin-bunk cabin works for kids or a fourth pair travelling more lightly. A crew of two runs the boat and the service.
The flybridge is the social centre, with dining, sunbathing space, and the helm under shade. Below it, the aft deck is set up for al fresco meals around a wet bar, and the foredeck carries trampolines for the run between islands. A hydraulic swim platform handles tender launches and the toy load.
Beyond the e-foil and sea scooters, the inventory runs to two paddleboards, a wakeboard, a tube, a Bote hang-out pad, snorkel and dive gear, fishing kit, plus yoga mats and hand weights for mornings at anchor. Grenada and the Grenadines open up the southern Caribbean for summer charters; the BVI puts Tortola, Anegada, and Virgin Gorda within an easy day's reach in winter.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
