AURA

The owner's cabin on AURA was custom-enlarged at the build stage, with a king bed and a double-sized shower aft, setting her apart from the standard four-cabin Lagoon 65 layout. She is a 2023 Lagoon 65 sailing catamaran of around twenty metres, taking up to eight guests across one king and three queen cabins, with a crew of three running the BVI programme year-round.
The flybridge carries dual helm stations, two bars, and lounging space across both sun and shade, while the aft cockpit and saloon below run through full-height glazing for the main dining and lounge zones. The four-cabin VIP layout puts the king-bed owner's suite and three queen guest cabins each into their own corner, with all four ensuite.
Captain Jos Smart leads the boat as an RYA-qualified Yachtmaster with eight seasons of BVI chartering behind him. The crew rotates seasonally, with a chef in the galley and a mate-stewardess handling deck and interior service across the winter and summer cycles.
Watersports kit covers a Seabob, two stand-up paddleboards, a kayak, a wakeboard, adult and children's water skis, a knee board, a towable tube, floating mats, plus snorkel and fishing gear. A BBQ, water maker, and ice maker handle the long-day onboard comforts at anchor.
The boat works the British Virgin Islands year-round from her BVI base, with weekly rates running from fifty-three thousand US dollars in the shoulder months up to sixty-three thousand at peak.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
