SASTA

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Balearic Islands
1 / 30

Palma de Mallorca, year-round, with the Balearics on her doorstep. SASTA is a Lagoon Seventy 8 power catamaran from 2022, running a single-base programme out of Mallorca for the full Balearic loop: Ibiza, Formentera, Menorca, and the Mallorcan coastline.

Twin John Deere N13 diesels at 580 horsepower each push her to 12 knots cruise and 18 knots flat out. That puts a Menorca-Formentera-Ibiza week in range without planning a mid-charter fuel stop into the schedule.

Eight guests live across four en-suite cabins. The interior runs to satellite TV and a salon stereo, the deck carries a bimini and a barbecue, and the swim platform handles the daily water-toy routine off the back.

The toy locker stocks a full charter week: a Seabob, two two-person kayaks, two paddleboards, a wakeboard, water skis for adults and children, two towables, snorkel kits for ten, and two fishing rigs. Captain Nicolas Zinggrebe, German and multilingual, runs the boat. He came up through Balearic and south-of-France charter, three seasons as first officer on a 40-metre before stepping up to command, and now leads a crew of four out of Palma.

Good to Know

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
