AKASHA

Out of Nassau on a year-round Bahamas programme, AKASHA is a 2018 Lagoon catamaran of eighteen metres, running eight guests across the Exumas with a crew of two. The base puts the Berry Islands, Highbourne Cay, Staniel Cay, and the Exuma Cays Sea Park inside daily reach.
The four-cabin layout sleeps eight guests in matching ensuite doubles. A crew of two lives forward, keeping the guest hulls private throughout the week.
Twin diesels drive a steady eight-knot cruise that suits the short Bahamas hops between cays. Most legs run under two hours at sea, leaving full days at anchor for swimming, snorkeling, and beach landings.
The cockpit and saloon open onto each other as the main living zone, with a bimini-shaded outdoor dining table and sun awnings forward over the trampolines. A swim platform astern handles the watersports kit and dinghy launches for snorkeling stops at Thunderball Grotto, the Aquarium, and the swimming pigs at Big Major Cay.
Watersports gear covers four stand-up paddleboards, a wakeboard, floating mats, snorkel sets, and two sets of fishing tackle. A gym corner, water maker, ice maker, BBQ, salon stereo, and deck shower round out the practical side.
The weekly rate runs at forty-four thousand six hundred and twenty-five US dollars all-inclusive. AKASHA suits family groups and two-couple charters looking for a four-cabin Lagoon on a calendar-year Bahamas programme, with short cay-hop legs and full access to the Exumas chain.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
