NOVA

NOVA has had the same captain since she launched in 2011. Costas Chiotis was born on Hydra, has been skippering professionally since 1989, and has logged more than 200,000 nautical miles across the Greek islands. The yacht is a Lagoon 620, designed by VPLP and built at CNB in 2010, refitted in 2020 and based in Athens year-round.
She sleeps eight guests across four cabins. The master sits to one side with a private lounge and en-suite, two double cabins take the opposite hull, and the fourth cabin holds bunks for children or a fourth couple sharing. A crew of three works from separate compartments: Captain Chiotis, hostess Konstantina, and chef Sotiris Mpempedelis, who took first place in Category A at the 2024 Mediterranean Yacht Show Chef's Competition.
The deck plan is what you expect from a 62-foot catamaran with ten metres of beam: a covered cockpit aft for shaded dining, a forward lounge for sundowners, and a flybridge with the helm and a second seating area. Watersports gear runs to a wakeboard, water skis, a knee board, a paddleboard, a kayak, a tube, and snorkel kit. A 4.7-metre RIB with a 60hp Yamaha outboard tows for the wake and ski sessions.
From Athens she runs the Saronic and Cycladic loops year-round, with the Ionian, Sporades, and Dodecanese reachable on longer itineraries. The base does not move with the seasons.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
