NORTHWIND II
NORTHWIND II est un morceau d'histoire de la navigation. Construit par Camper & Nicholsons à Southampton en 1966 pour l'industriel français Paulin Richier (à l'origine Chambel IV), il fut renommé par son propriétaire suivant en 1970 et navigue depuis lors sans interruption. Dernière refonte en 2022. Coque en acier, superstructure en aluminium, ponts en teck, et la prestance que seul un classique de 60 ans possède.
L'intérieur a été conçu par Maison Jansen, et cela se voit : boiseries en teck birman rehaussées de bandes en or 22 carats, le genre de détail qui ne se construit tout simplement plus. Elle accueille 10 passagers dans 5 cabines avec salle de bain privative, dont une cabine principale avec deux lits (108cm et 128cm), une VIP et trois cabines twin. Un équipage complet de 9 personnes assure un service au niveau pour lequel le navire a été conçu.
Deux diesels MAN la propulsent à 13 nœuds en croisière, jusqu'à 15, avec une autonomie de 2 275 milles nautiques. Basée à Athènes toute l'année.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
