THE MAJ OCEANIC is een 47 meter lange phinisi uit 2020, met 12 gasten in zeven cabines en een crew van 16. Ze verdeelt haar jaar tussen Komodo (vanuit Labuan Bajo, mei tot oktober) en Raja Ampat (vanuit Sorong, november tot april).
De 120 vierkante meter grote Admiral Suite beslaat het volledige brugdek: kingsize bed, privébalkon, 270 graden zeezicht, apart bad, regendouche en dubbele wastafels. Een Commodore Suite van 35 vierkante meter op het hoofddek heeft een kingsize bed en converteerbare bank voor een kind. Vier Deluxe Staterooms van 25 vierkante meter op het lagere dek hebben queensize bedden, zithoeken, schrijfbureaus, dubbele wastafels en aparte douches. Een extra tweepersoonscabine is beschikbaar voor kinderen.
Vier kajaks, vier SUP's, snorkeluitrusting, biologisch afbreekbare golfballen voor open-water driving, barbecue-opstelling en stranduitrusting. Twee 6m RIB tenders met 90pk verzorgen duiktransfers en shortruns. Jetski's beschikbaar op aanvraag tegen meerprijs.
Ze vaart op 9 knopen (12 top). De routes volgen de beste duiklocaties van Indonesië: Komodovaranen bij Rinca, mantaschoonmaakstations en de koraalwanden van Misool.
Een mastersuite van 120 vierkante meter op een traditionele phinisi, met 16 crew, in de meest biodiverse wateren ter wereld.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
