Charter the . HUAYRA in Greece
Andrea Vallicelli designed over 150 racing and cruising sailboats. HUAYRA, the Comet 100 RS, is Comar Yachts' first maxi and the flagship of the Fiumicino yard. Built in 2011 with a carbon composite hull, a Hall Spars carbon mast, and a Cariboni hydraulic lifting keel that adjusts from 2.7 to 4.8 metres of draft, she was refitted in 2025 with new performance sails.
The "RS" stands for Raised Saloon. Panoramic eagle-eye windows wrap the deck saloon, putting the Aegean at eye level. Below, four en-suite cabins sleep eight guests: a full-beam master fills the bow with a double bed and seaward views, two guest doubles and a twin complete the layout, and the crew quarters sit separated aft.
Under sail she reaches up to 17 knots. Under engine, a single John Deere 375-horsepower diesel holds 10 knots cruising and 16 at full throttle. The lifting keel is the real asset for Greece: shallow enough for Cycladic bays at 2.7 metres, deep enough for open-water windward performance at 4.8.
Toys include a Williams Jet 395 tender, Seabob, wakeboard, water skis, SUP, and fishing gear. Four crew run the boat from Athens year-round. She is a carbon-hulled Vallicelli design that sails like a racer and charters with the space of a cruiser.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
