AURELIUS

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Caribbean
1 / 30

Dykstra Naval Architects drew the lines and JOM built the hull in 2011, making AURELIUS a 34-metre sloop with the kind of pedigree that defines the modern classic category in sailing. She was refitted in 2023 and splits her year between the western Mediterranean in summer and Antigua, St Barths, and St Martin through the Caribbean winter.

Three cabins sleep six guests. The master carries a queen bed and en-suite bath; two guest cabins run twin berths (one convertible to a queen) with pullman and en-suite shower. The interior is Honduras mahogany and cream panelling over chestnut flooring, understated and warm in the way that Dutch yards have always done well. A crew of three lives forward.

On deck, the sloop rig means clean lines and easy handling under sail. Toys include a wakeboard, two sets of water skis, SUP, tow tube, and snorkel gear. A bimini and sun awning shade the cockpit for long lunches at anchor, and she carries a water maker for extended passages between islands.

Six guests, a Dykstra hull, and two oceans worth of charter season, from the Balearics in July to Antigua in December. She looks as good under sail as anything on the water.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
