Bodrum year-round. STEEL is a 44-metre motor yacht built by Tuzla Shipyard in 2011 and refitted in 2023, based permanently in one of Turkey's best charter harbours. Steel hull (the name is literal), five cabins, twelve guests, and a crew of six who know the Turkish Riviera and the Aegean islands from Bodrum south to Göcek and across to the Greek Dodecanese.

Five cabins, all en-suite. The layout handles couples, families, or mixed groups. She cruises at 16 knots, fast enough to cover the distance between Bodrum and the quieter bays south of Marmaris in a morning.

One jet ski, single and double kayaks, adult and kids' waterskis, floating mats, snorkelling gear, and fishing equipment. Jacuzzi on deck, barbecue, and sun awnings for the Turkish summer. Not the longest toy list, but the Aegean coast is the kind of cruising ground where the anchorages do the entertaining.

Based in Bodrum, the obvious itineraries run south along the Lycian coast to Göcek, across to Kos and the Dodecanese, or north through the Bodrum peninsula. A week covers a lot of coastline at 16 knots.

A straightforward Turkish charter yacht with a steel hull, a Bodrum base, and a crew who know where to anchor when the wind picks up.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
