About SON DE MAR
SON DE MAR is one of the more capable crewed sailing yachts available in Croatia. Built in 2019, she measures 45 metres and carries up to 12 guests in six cabins, with a nine-person crew to look after everything onboard.
The accommodation is well balanced. The master cabin spans 34 square metres with a king-size bed, and there are four double cabins with queen beds, suitable for couples travelling together. A twin cabin rounds out the layout for families or guests who prefer separate beds.
She cruises at 9 knots, which suits a relaxed pace along the Dalmatian coast. Based in Split, she is positioned well for island-hopping through the central Adriatic. Hvar, Brač, Vis, and Korčula are all within easy reach.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
