AD ASTRA 80

A three-metre balcony folds down out of each side of the cockpit, opening the boat to the water with two extra outdoor lounging spaces over the hulls. AD ASTRA 80 is a Fountaine Pajot Thira 80, the 78-foot sailing catamaran from Berret-Racoupeau Design, delivered new in 2024 and based at Lavrion's Olympic Marine year-round. Ten guests sleep across five cabins, all served by a crew of five.
The foredeck is a second living area in its own right, with sunpads, sunken lounge seating, and a jacuzzi cut into the bow. The flybridge runs above with its own lounge space, while the salon below opens onto the aft cockpit through full-height glass and the dining cockpit comfortably seats ten.
Two jet skis sit on the swim platform alongside a Seabob, paddleboards, a kayak, water skis, and snorkel and fishing kit, with the tender on davits for shore runs and beach launches. BBQ, ice maker, deck shower, bimini, and salon stereo round out the standard kit, with air conditioning throughout.
Lavrion sits one road south of Athens, which puts the Cyclades inside half a day's run and the Saronic Gulf as close as the next morning. She summers and winters in the same berth and runs the season out of one marina, with the boat in commission year-round on a Greek flag.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
