NOMAD

Set up for Dalmatian island charters out of Trogir, with a crew of two aboard. NOMAD is a Lagoon 55 sailing catamaran, with naval architecture by VPLP, exterior lines by Patrick le Quément, and an interior by Nauta Design.
Captain Damir Vrbanac started sailing at ten, raced for Croatia at state, European and world championships, and has worked as a professional skipper since 2004 on monohulls, motor boats and catamarans. He is a certified Yacht Master and holds GMDSS and ECDIS tickets, and he knows the Adriatic coast well enough to be useful on restaurants and wine routes. Marija Mimica Špoljar runs the interior and does the cooking, with a master's degree in marketing and communications behind her and a culinary qualification earned in Split.
Four double cabins each have a private head and shower, and the crew have their own quarters in the forepeak. A forward cockpit and a flybridge add two more places to sit away from the main aft cockpit. Air conditioning is fitted throughout, and a water maker, barbecue and WiFi fill out the equipment list.
She cruises at eight knots. A 1.55-metre draft lets her tuck into the shallower Dalmatian coves. Two sea scooters, two paddleboards, a wakeboard, water skis, a donut and snorkel gear round out the kit. A 4.2-metre RIB with a 60 hp outboard, run by the skipper, tows the wakeboarders and water skiers.
Children are welcome on board, and Damir takes them out with the toys himself.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
