SAMELI is a Balance 750 sailing catamaran, built by Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing in Cape Town for Balance Catamarans as Hull No. 1 of the series. Designed for offshore performance and long-range cruising, she was launched in 2016 and refitted in 2023. She is now based year-round in Athens, operating the Cyclades in summer and the Saronic Islands in winter.
Designed on a 10.5-metre beam, she offers exceptional volume, with the saloon and cockpit flowing together into one continuous living space that enhances both comfort and social living. The interior is open-plan, featuring a generous dining area, contemporary finishes, and teak detailing in the heads. SAMELI accommodates up to 10 guests in five en-suite double cabins, supported by a professional crew of four, including a captain and chef.
Under sail, she is efficient and capable of reaching speeds of up to 15 knots in strong conditions. Under power, twin diesel engines deliver a comfortable 10-knot cruising speed, ensuring reliable passage-making when winds drop across the Meltemi corridor.
A 5.20-metre RIB tender with an 80 HP Yamaha outboard handles guest transfers and watersport towing. The onboard selection includes a Seabob, stand-up paddleboard, kayak, wakeboard, adult water skis, kneeboard, towable tube, and fishing equipment, all launched directly from the swim platform.
Outdoor living centers around the aft deck, where a BBQ setup supports long lunches at anchor in locations such as Polyaigos or Despotiko. A sun awning shades the foredeck, providing a relaxed retreat during calm, windless afternoons at sea.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
