A-PLAN

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Caribbean
1 / 10

Mediterranean summer, Caribbean winter. A-PLAN is a 2025 Sunreef 80 Eco on her first full year of charter, splitting the year between the western Med and the Virgin Islands.

She is a 23.99-metre sailing catamaran with 11.54 metres of beam, built in composite with a flybridge superstructure and the hybrid propulsion package that defines Sunreef's Eco range. The olive-green hull is the visible part of the brief; the quiet electric-drive cruise mode is the working one.

Nine guests sleep across four cabins, all en-suite. The master and VIP both take queen beds, a third cabin converts between double and twin, and the fourth is a triple with bunks and a single bed for children. A crew of four runs the boat: captain, chef, stewardess, and deckhand.

The toy programme covers the full range a catamaran of this scale supports. Two Seabobs, an eFoil, a wakeboard, water skis, two paddleboards, a kayak, kite-board kit with three kites, towables, and an inflatable toy dock all launch from the fold-out bathing platform. A Highfield Patrol 540 tender runs guests ashore. Rendezvous diving is arranged with local operators.

Summer covers Naples and the Aeolian Islands, the Riviera and Corsica-Sardinia, and the Spanish Balearics. Winter moves her to the British and US Virgin Islands and down into the Windwards.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
