SOLOMAR

Berret-Racoupeau drew the Samana 59 as Fountaine Pajot's first cruising sailing catamaran with a flybridge. SOLOMAR is a 2025 build of that model, configured as the four-cabin owner version for eight guests, based at Marina Baotic in Trogir year-round.

The accommodation puts the master suite on its own and three queen cabins alongside, all en-suite and finished in the contemporary palette the model is known for. The main salon runs to over 27 square metres with panoramic glazing, and the aft cockpit opens off it for outdoor dining at the same level.

The flybridge is the structural signature of the boat: more than 30 square metres of helm station, sun pads, and lounging set up as the social high point of the day. Forward, a separate bow cockpit gives a second quiet zone away from the main deck, useful at anchor when guests want to spread out.

A crew of three handles the boat: captain, chef, and deckhand, covering sail trim, galley, and service. Twin 150HP Volvos provide auxiliary power at around 8 knots cruise, with watermaker, generator, and full A/C standard on the Samana 59 platform. Water sports run to a paddleboard, wakeboard, adult water skis, snorkel gear, and fishing tackle from the swim platform.

From Trogir the boat reaches Hvar, Brač, Vis, and the Kornati national park on day-runs, with longer hops south to Korčula and Lastovo for week-long charters. She is a brand-new flybridge cat straight out of La Rochelle.
