NOMAD

Captain Igor Kolesar sailed this yacht across the Atlantic from Zadar to the British Virgin Islands, 6,000 nautical miles under her own keel before she came back to Croatia for the charter season. NOMAD is a Lagoon 55 Elegance Line, a 16.9-metre sailing catamaran delivered new in 2023, based at Split for the Adriatic summer with Igor on the helm and Marija Bunarđija handling the service.
Eight guests share four en-suite cabins, all doubles in the standard Lagoon 55 four-cabin layout that keeps the saloon and galley up on the main level. The flow between salon, aft cockpit, and foredeck is what people remember from a week on a 55: indoors and outdoors run together, and the boat eats meals in either direction depending on the weather.
She moves under twin 115-horsepower engines or under sail, with a watermaker, ice maker, dishwasher, and air conditioning to keep the week running at anchor. Wi-Fi and TVs in the salon and cabins cover the rainy afternoons, and a generator and inverter handle the load away from shore power.
The toy programme is short but considered: a wing-surf foiling board for the dedicated, two underwater sea scooters, two paddleboards, and snorkel gear. A 4.2-metre tender with a 60-horsepower outboard handles the run to old-town quays at Hvar, Vis, and Korčula. The Kornati national park sits within an easy sail of the Split base, the kind of week the Dalmatian coast was built for.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
