MALENA

MALENA is a 27-metre Croatian gulet built in 1997 and refitted in 2021. She charters exclusively out of Sibenik, with a local crew of four who know the Dalmatian islands the way only year-round locals do. Charter guests consistently single out the chef, the route planning, and the crew's flexibility with weather and preferences.
Ten guests in five en-suite cabins. The layout is generous for a 27-metre gulet, and the 2021 refit brought the interiors up to date. Every winter she gets a full maintenance cycle from her owners, so the condition stays ahead of the price point.
On deck, the sun awning covers a proper outdoor dining and lounging area. Toys are simple and right for the cruising ground: kayak, two SUPs, a tube, snorkel gear, and fishing equipment. This is island-hopping territory.
She cruises at 10 knots along the Dalmatian coast, anchoring in the kind of coves and harbours that the big motor yachts can't reach. Sibenik to Hvar, Vis, Korčula, the Kornati archipelago: a week's itinerary writes itself.
A well-kept gulet with a crew that earns the reviews, at a price point that makes a week in Croatia accessible.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
