About OMBRE BLU3
If you're after a catamaran that marries classic charm with modern comfort, OMBRE BLU3 is a solid pick. Built by Sunreef Yachts in 2010, this 70-foot sailing catamaran is well-suited for both laid-back family getaways and more adventurous sailing excursions.
The interior of OMBRE BLU3 stands out with its traditional boating aesthetics, featuring brass accents sourced from historic 17th to 19th-century passenger ships. This attention to detail gives the yacht a unique character that sets it apart from the typical charter offerings.
Weather is rarely a concern on OMBRE BLU3, thanks to its well-designed flybridge and main deck that provide ample shelter while still showcasing stunning views. If you prefer the indoors, the saloon is bright and spacious, with large windows framing expansive sea vistas. Plus, there are plenty of sunbeds on the flybridge and various decks for lounging in the sun.
Accommodating up to six guests, OMBRE BLU3 is ideal for three couples. Each cabin has its own charm, with the master cabin on the starboard side featuring a double bed, a desk/beauty table, and a generous bathroom with a double sink and separate shower. The guest cabin on the starboard side boasts the largest bathroom, complete with a rain shower on teak flooring. On the port side, two adjoining cabins create a suite, offering a shared bathroom accessible from the main double cabin, along with a sofa/single berth and beauty table.
With a professional crew of four, OMBRE BLU3 is set up to cater to your needs, ensuring a personalized experience. Additionally, as a registered PADI Dive Centre, the yacht offers diving opportunities for everyone, from beginners seeking certification to seasoned divers looking for adventure.
In short, OMBRE BLU3 is a well-appointed catamaran that combines classic design with modern amenities, making it a fantastic choice for your next charter in the beautiful waters of Italy.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
At Frontier Yachting, we work with MYBA and CYBA contracts to safeguard the interests of our clients. These internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
