OMBRE BLU3

Brass lamps, bar stools, door handles and railings repurposed from 17th-to-19th-century passenger ships fit out the interior of OMBRE BLU3. She is a Sunreef 70 sailing catamaran from 2010, refitted in 2018, and she runs the Italian charter circuit out of Sardinia for six guests across three cabins.
The salon is open-plan, with a generous seating area, a bar, and a fully equipped galley under the bright wraparound windows that look forward over the bows. The master sits to starboard with a double bed, desk, and en-suite with twin sinks. The two further cabins each carry queens, one with an open rain shower over teak.
Below decks she carries a registered PADI dive centre. Eight scuba sets, a dive compressor, and a Master Scuba Diver Trainer on call run certifications and specialty courses for guests of any level. The toy locker covers the rest: windsurfers, kayaks, paddleboards, water skis, wakeboards, tubes, snorkel kits, and an underwater scooter. A Castoldi jet tender handles transfers off the swim platform.
The boat is run by Captain-Chef Francesco, a Venetian who grew up summering at his family home in the Aeolian Islands, and his wife Captain-Hostess Melissa, Australian and the spa-and-wine half of the operation. They charter the full Italian range from a Sardinia base: Sardinia and Corsica, the Pontine Islands, the Amalfi Coast, the Aeolian and Egadi Islands of western Sicily.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
