AKIRA

Summer: CroatiaWinter: Croatia
1 / 30

Sanlorenzo delivered AKIRA in 2024, a brand-new 27-metre SD90 with a semi-displacement hull penned by Philippe Briand and exterior lines drawn by Zuccon International Project. She carries 8 guests across 4 en-suite cabins with a dedicated crew of 5 who know the Croatian coast inside out.

The owner's suite sits on the main deck. Below, two double guest cabins and a convertible fourth cabin (lounge by day, double by night) fill the lower deck. Large windows pull the Adriatic inside, and stabilizers keep everything steady at anchor and underway.

Up top, a minimalist flybridge holds a lounge, dining area, and light T-top. The swim platform opens onto a toy arsenal led by a Ranieri Cayman 28 Executive chase boat with its own skipper and a Williams Sportjet 435 tender. Add a Yamaha Waverunner, two Seabob F5S-Rs, a Fliteboard, an Awake board, a wakeboard, waterskis, and snorkelling gear. The crew flies a DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone for aerial footage of your trip.

Twin MAN i6-800 engines push AKIRA to 14 knots, cruising comfortably at 12. She works the Croatian coast from Zadar through Split and Hvar down to Dubrovnik all summer long.

A 27-metre yacht with her own chase boat, a Philippe Briand hull, and a toy inventory that genuinely rivals yachts twice her size is a rare thing.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
