CARMEN

Riza Tansu designed CARMEN as part of his Tiger Shark series, and Aegean Yachts built her in 2025. The result is a 37-metre explorer yacht with a high bow, wide aft deck, and the kind of military-influenced silhouette that stands out in any marina. She is brand new, entering the charter fleet for her first Mediterranean summer.
Ten guests across five cabins, including a main-deck master suite. The interior takes a different direction from the muscular exterior: contemporary furnishings with a beach-house feel, natural materials, and large windows throughout. Seven crew handle service and itinerary planning from a base in Zadar, Croatia.
On the foredeck, a jacuzzi with surrounding sunpads. Aft, a generous swim platform and beach club area for direct water access. CARMEN carries two jet skis, a Seabob, two wakeboards, four sets of water skis, two paddleboards, and fishing gear. A Williams 565 tender handles transfers and beach landings.
Her chef, Marco Rac, won first prize at the inaugural CROYA charter show cooking competition. CARMEN cruises at 13 knots with a top speed of 16, covering the Croatian coast from Zadar south through the Kornati archipelago, Šibenik, Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
