Monachus Yachts builds out of a small yard near Split, founded by Hari Tabak in 2006 after two decades in the trade, and named for the Mediterranean monk seal. That lineage shows on PANTA REI: the Monachus 70 Fly is a semi-custom planing hull with a lobster-boat pedigree, world-premiered at Venice in May 2022.
At 21 metres with a 1.35-metre draft, she threads the shallow coves and tight island anchorages along the Dalmatian coast where the best swimming stops sit. Twin Volvo Penta IPS 1200 drives push her to a cruising speed of 24 knots (31 max), and the Sky-hook dynamic positioning holds her steady at anchor without dropping lines.
Eight guests spread across four en-suite cabins. The master sits amidships with a sofa, flatscreen, and enough headroom to feel like a proper stateroom on a 21-metre hull. A VIP double forward, a twin that converts to a double, and a fourth with L-shaped bunks round out the layout for families or mixed groups. Captain Pino runs the boat year-round from Split, covering Croatia, Montenegro, and the broader Adriatic.
An 85HP Avon Jet Seasport tender (four seats) handles shore runs and beach access, with two SUPs, water skis, a donut, mask and fins, and fishing gear stowed on board for quieter days at anchor.
PANTA REI is what you get when a craftsman who's been building hulls since 1985 finally puts his name on the flybridge.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
