AURELIA

Summer: French RivieraWinter: Balearic Islands
1 / 18

Heesen delivered AURELIA in 2011, and a 2025 refit updated her for another decade of charter work. Bannenberg & Rowell designed the interiors: clean lines, natural materials, and a layout that makes 37 metres feel significantly larger. Eight guests across four cabins, six crew.

The defining feature is speed. AURELIA cruises at 28 knots and tops out at 30, powered by twin MTU diesels, with a 1,900-nautical-mile range at 12 knots. That pace puts Saint-Tropez to Portofino in a morning, or Antibes to Calvi in an afternoon, opening itineraries that slower yachts simply cannot run in a seven-day charter.

Her Pascoe SY9 chase tender matches the ambition: 9 metres, seating for ten, radar and AIS, capable of 46 knots. It handles guest transfers, beach landings, and waterskiing in open water equally well. A Fun Air waterslide launches from the upper deck into the sea. Additional toys include a SeaDoo RXP-X 300R jet ski, Seabob, wakeboards, water skis, scuba gear, and two GoCycle electric bikes for shore excursions.

Based in the South of France for summer, Barcelona for winter. The speed to cover both coastlines in a single charter week.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
