NORTHWIND II
NORTHWIND II is een stuk jachtgeschiedenis. Gebouwd door Camper & Nicholsons in Southampton in 1966 voor de Franse industrieel Paulin Richier (oorspronkelijk Chambel IV), werd ze hernoemd door haar volgende eigenaar in 1970 en vaart sindsdien onafgebroken. Laatst gerefitaliseerd in 2022. Stalen romp, aluminium bovenbouw, teakdekken, en de uitstraling die alleen een 60 jaar oud klassiek jacht heeft.
Het interieur werd ontworpen door Maison Jansen, en dat is te zien: Birmese teakpanelen met 22-karaats gouden banden, het soort detail dat simpelweg niet meer gebouwd wordt. Ze biedt plaats aan 10 gasten in 5 hutten met eigen badkamer, waaronder een master met twee bedden (108cm en 128cm), een VIP en drie twinkabines. Een volledige crew van 9 levert service op het niveau waarvoor het schip oorspronkelijk gebouwd werd.
Twee MAN-diesels brengen haar op 13 knopen kruissnelheid, tot 15 knopen, met een bereik van 2.275 zeemijl. Het hele jaar door gestationeerd in Athene.
Birmees teak, 22-karaats gouden banden, Maison Jansen-interieurs, en een romp die Camper & Nicholsons te water liet in het jaar dat Engeland het WK won. NORTHWIND II is het echte werk.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
