Drie hutten, een bemanning van vier, en een aluminium romp gebouwd om oceanen over te steken. FREE AT LAST is een 29m performance cruiser ontworpen door Marcelo Penna, gebouwd door Monty North in Spanje en te water gelaten in 2001. Haar diepe kiel van 3,70m en meer dan 350 vierkante meter zeiloppervlak maken haar een echte blauwwater-sloop, het type dat hoog aan de wind mijlen vreet alsof het niets is.
Ze kwam in 2025 uit een volledige refit met nieuwe lak, nieuw teakdek en een opgefrist interieur. De mastercabine en twee converteerbare gastencabines (alle en-suite, met vaste pullmanbedden voor flexibiliteit) bieden slaapplaats voor acht personen benedendeks, terwijl een vlak teakcockpit met U-vormige banken en dubbele stuurwielen iedereen dicht bij de actie houdt aan dek.
Kapitein Becattini brengt 290.000 zeemijl en 35 jaar ervaring op open water mee in vier talen, en chef Demuru heeft meer dan 100.000 zeemijl op luxe zeilyachten gevaren. Bevoorrading voor een week langs de Ionische kust is voor deze bemanning routine. Een eerste stuurman met RYA Yachtmaster Offshore-brevet en een steward die ook als tuiger fungeert maken het viertal compleet.
Speelgoed omvat sea scooters, SUP's, kneeboards, een wakeboard en een Highfield tender. Thuishaven in de zomer is Korfoe, met flexibele opties in de Middellandse Zee en Caraïben in de winter.
Ze zeilt waar de grote glasvezel chartercatamarans niet kunnen volgen.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
