SHOOTING STAR
Cycladen, Ionische Eilanden, Dodekanesos, Sporaden: SHOOTING STAR zeilt het hele jaar vanuit Athene en brengt elke Griekse eilandengroep binnen bereik op één charter. Ze is een 20 meter lange Gianetti Star 64 getekend door Garroni Design, gebouwd in Viareggio in 2008 en gerefit in 2023 met nieuw teakdek, nieuwe airconditioning en vernieuwde interieurs.
Drie en-suite hutten bieden slaapplaats aan zes gasten. De master vult de boeg met een tweepersoonsbed en natuurlijk licht via dakluiken; twee gasthutten achteruit hebben eenpersoonsbedden die omgebouwd worden tot tweepersoons, zodat zowel stellen als gezinnen uit de voeten kunnen. De salon is open met langgerekte zijramen die de Egeïsche Zee in beeld houden, en de beschutte kuip biedt iedereen zitplaats voor maaltijden in de buitenlucht.
Kapitein Christos Filinis is een civiel ingenieur die RYA Yachtmaster werd, met een achtergrond in wedstrijdwindsurfen en diepgaande kennis van Griekse wateren. Zijn kokkin-gastvrouw serveert meergangenmenu's rond seizoensgebonden Griekse ingrediënten. Een Highfield 340 tender met een Honda buitenboordmotor van 20 pk, twee SUP's, wakeboard, waterski's, tube, snorkeluitrusting en vistuig dekken het water.
Ze vaart acht knopen op twee Yanmar diesels en haalt 10 op de motor, sneller onder zeil. Ze is een Garroni-ontworpen Italiaanse sloep, goed gerefit, met de bemanning en de thuishaven om Griekenland te bestrijken van de Saronische Golf tot de Cycladen en verder.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
