ATLANTIC
In 1905 vestigde de originele ATLANTIC een transatlantisch zeilrecord van New York naar The Lizard dat bijna een eeuw standhield. Dit is haar recreatie: een 64,5 meter lange driemaster gaffelschoener, gebouwd door Van der Graaf in Nederland in 2010. Doug Peterson paste de lijnen van William Gardner uit 1903 aan voor een moderne stalen romp en Dacron-zeilen. Eigenaar Ed Kastelein (van de Holland America Line-familie) reconstrueerde het koloniale interieur aan de hand van historische foto's. Ze won een World Superyacht Award in 2011.
Twaalf gasten in zes cabines met eigen badkamer: een master over de volle breedte met ligbad, twee tweepersoons, een twin en twee stapelbedcabines. Bemanning van 12. Het interieur is gesneden teakhout en authentieke details, onder 1.700 vierkante meter zeiloppervlak gedragen door 45 meter hoge masten.
Ze heeft een klassiek zeilbootje van 12 voet aan boord, een e-foil, wakeboard, waterski's, kneeboard, duikuitrusting, snorkelsets, yogamatten en fietsen. De 6,5m Sillinger RIB verzorgt waltransfers. Met 10 knopen kruissnelheid vaart ze op zeiltempo; en dat is precies het punt.
Zomers in de westelijke Middellandse Zee (Rivièra, Corsica, Sardinië, Sicilië, Griekenland). Winters in de Caraïben vanuit Antigua. Gerefiteerd in 2025.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
