CARTOUCHE

Summer: CycladesWinter: The Bahamas
1 / 30

Six hundred and thirty square metres of sail on a carbon wing mast, driven by a hull built from infused fibreglass, carbon, and epoxy. CARTOUCHE is a Blue Coast 95 catamaran designed by Jean-Jacques Coste, delivered in 2011 and refitted in 2021. At nearly 29 metres with a 12-metre beam, she has the volume of a small superyacht and the sailing manners of something half her size.

Four en-suite cabins sleep eight guests. The king master sits on the main deck with full iPad-controlled AV and panoramic views across the water. Three queen guest cabins on the lower deck each have private bathrooms and enough space to spread out. A crew of four handles everything from sail trim to provisioning.

On deck, the beam pays dividends. Wide trampolines forward, a flybridge with jacuzzi, and a shaded cockpit dining area that seats everyone without feeling tight. Toys include a jet ski, Seabob, two tandem kayaks, wakeboard, water skis (adult and kids), SUP, tow tube, floating mats, plus snorkel and fishing gear. The Zodiac tender gets you ashore.

She splits seasons between Greece in summer and the Bahamas in winter, cruising at 8 knots under power or considerably faster under canvas. A proper sailing catamaran at superyacht scale.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
