Sanlorenzo built the SX88 around a beach club. On NO MATTER WHAT, a 4.6-square-metre section of the transom lowers into the water, turning 30 square metres of aft deck into a sea-level terrace with direct ocean access. A 15-foot tender and the full toy inventory stow inside when underway; at anchor, the space becomes the social centre of the yacht.
The main deck runs open-plan from stern to bow, with floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides and no interior bulkheads. Sanlorenzo calls it a crossover, splitting the difference between their flybridge and explorer lines, and the result reads like a loft apartment that happens to do 20 knots. Four en-suite cabins sleep eight: a king master amidships, a queen VIP forward, a double, and a twin.
A crew of four runs the boat out of Nantucket from June through September, covering Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod, and the islands. Winters shift to Miami and the Bahamas. Stabilizers at anchor keep things steady in open roadsteads, and Starlink handles connectivity for anyone who can't fully disconnect.
The toy locker holds a jet ski, SeaBob, two paddleboards, and a wakeboard for the open water, plus water skis, a kneeboard, tube, and snorkel gear for calmer anchorages. Bicycles go ashore for harbour towns like Edgartown and Vineyard Haven.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
