DREAM CHASER
A charter yacht based in Manhattan that can actually reach the best of the East Coast in a morning. DREAM CHASER is a 28-metre Ferretti from 2001, refitted in 2022, with twin MTU engines that push her to 27 knots and a home berth at Liberty Landing, New Jersey, directly across the Hudson from lower Manhattan.
Four cabins sleep eight guests. The master occupies the main deck with a walk-in wardrobe, dressing area, and en-suite rainfall shower; below, two doubles (one with pullman berth for a child) and a twin complete the layout, all en-suite. A crew of three lives forward and runs the boat year-round, including winter holiday charters against the Manhattan skyline.
On deck, a jacuzzi, BBQ station, and underwater lights for evening swims. Toys are modest for a yacht this size (SUP, floating mats, snorkel gear) but the real draw is the itinerary: Sag Harbor, Block Island, Montauk, and the Connecticut shore, all within reach of a single charter week.
She cruises at 20 knots, putting the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, and Long Island Sound within comfortable range of a single charter week. New York from the water is a different city entirely.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
